SKIDATA Appoints a New Leader for North America

SKIDATA, Inc., a global leader in access control and revenue solutions appoints Stefan Schaffner as CEO & Senior Vice President North America.

SKIDATA has experienced tremendous growth in the US market – more than doubling their revenue, office locations and employees since 2014. This hyper growth has made SKIDATA the largest access control provider in the US. This evolution will kick into overdrive in 2018 as the company embarks on the largest merger in its history with the integration of Sentry Control Systems. SKIDATA has tapped Stefan Schaffner as the Chief Executive Officer & Senior Vice President North America to lead this new organization. Mr. Schaffner will oversee the merge while guaranteeing the continued high level of customer service and efficiency that SKIDATA customers rely on.

Mr. Schaffner is an industry veteran with nearly 30 years of distribution, sales, operations and general management experience. After the successful establishment of SKIDATA South Africa, Mr. Schaffner was appointed to the SKIDATA Group’s Executive Team in Austria as Senior Vice President of Operations where he crafted and implemented the delivery and service strategy for the global organization.

Mr. Schaffner succeeds Alexander Christl who led the SKIDATA US organization since 2015. Mr. Christl will return to SKIDATA Headquarters in Austria after a successful 3-year tenure. Julie White, the newly recruited CFO and Head of Finance & Administration will support Mr. Schaffner in his new role. Ms. White brings nearly 20 years of Finance and Operations experience in small business and large enterprises across several industries.

The Leadership team will continue to expand SKIDATA’s US presence by driving the digitalization of revenue and access control through state of the art online solutions and services.
