SKIDATA Malaysia celebrated its official office opening

Thomas Paulik, Area Manager for Asia, leads as future General Manager SKIDATA Malaysia the foundation of this subsidiary. How does a successful market entrance in Malaysia look like? In his studies alongside work Thomas wrote his master thesis about this topic as well as “intercultural human resources management”. And now Thomas, who is with SKIDATA already for many years and started his career in the area of international technical support, could put his thesis into action in a multicultural environment like the Malaysian one, where people of different cultures, corresponding views and expectations live and work together.

SKIDATA Malaysia celebrated its official office opening on May 13th and 14th. For this event many customers, project developers, partners and suppliers were invited to get first hand impressions about the new designed office location. The sessions were accompanied by presentations about SKIDATA’s global setup and activities including background information of the Kudelski Group and SKIDATA’s approach and challenges in relation to worldwide operations. The questions how the new subsidiary SKIDATA Malaysia will be able to serve the needs and demands of our customers in Malaysia and how they will benefit from the strong background of the SKIDATA Group, were also on focus.

Thomas Paulik is looking back at a successful event: “All attendants highly welcomed the foundation of the new subsidiary, as they strongly believe that the direct presence of SKIDATA will be beneficial in their daily business. They also appreciated the longterm planning and strong commitment signaled by this decision.” The session was closed by a social get-together enjoying delightful snacks and beverages.
