Schick Electronic Launches a New Generation of Camera-Based Products
Schick Electronic recently launched a new generation of camera-based products for parking guidance systems, the SP4-C Outdoor Camera System. This solution can monitor dozens of spaces using state-of-the art artificial intelligence technology in under two seconds, regardless of snow, rain or night.
The camera-based parking guidance system uses standard shell cameras that are easy to install and connect to the central computer. This reduces the startup costs for parking operators. The cameras provide images to the central computer where the state-of-the art software WinSP detects availability and provides real-time information to the displays around the car park.
The SP4-C Indoor Camera System has the same features as the outdoor camera with one innovative change: license plate recognition. With LPR, parking operators can offer services such as space reservation and Find my Car, as well as improve enforcement services.
Operator benefits for both these systems include a reduction of up to 30% of installation costs, lower surveillance costs, an all-in-one product, occupancy rate optimization and improved traffic flow. Furthermore, the Schick parking guidance system provides operators with instant daily, weekly, bi-annual and annual statistics giving them the information they need to run a smooth operation.
For drivers, the Schick parking guidance system provides a stress-free and time-saving experience with assistance and guidance upon arrival and a reduction on carbon emissions and wear and tear of the vehicle.
