Bundled expertise: Powerful support for Team UK

After the appointment of Alan Grix as new Managing Director, Scheidt & Bachmann UK is pleased to announce three further personnel changes. One position was internally reassigned. In addition, two external experts reinforced the team.

Jason Barnes, previously Service Director UK, has been appointed Operations Director. Jason has been involved in Service Delivery for over 30 years. He quickly transformed the ‘traditional’ service delivery model to one that was agile and fit for current and future customer needs. "I look forward to creating an exciting future with the industry's most passionate and competent technical team," said Jason. “Under his guidance our expansion has been seamless and the wide range of SLA site-based cover and remote support packages that we now offer is unrivalled. He’s the perfect fit to control our field-based support employees for both service & new project installations”, stressed Alan Grix.

In addition, Doug Shanks was recruited, an external expert who now takes the position of Finance Director. Doug has worked closely with S&B over a sustained period of time whilst he was at the Chartered Accountancy firm Perry’s. Alan Grix said “I am delighted that we have secured him as a directly employed staff member as he knows our business inside and out. This is invaluable to us as this lets the rest of the team focus on our existing customers and new opportunities alike. As important, Doug is a great fit for our Management Team, he has a driven passion for success albeit with a close eye for detail.”

The third new addition to the senior leadership line-up is Nick Maley, who was appointed as the new Commercial Director at S&B UK. Nick joins the team from Empark Aparciementos Servicios where for the past 3 years he has been Head Of Business Development doubling the companies parking management contract portfolio with key contract client acquisitions including London City Airport, High Speed Rail 1 (HS1) and the NHS. “I am truly honoured to be joining the company. I relish the chance to play my part in enhancing our existing customers and partners S&B experience, making it the best it can be”, Nick pointed out. Alan Grix added “Nick is the perfect fit for our business and Senior Management team. His wealth of experience, strong track-record and personable persona will prove invaluable for Scheidt & Bachmann during our continued growth plan”.
