Scheidt & Bachmann: Digital and Smart - New Parking Experience at the Minto
The largest and most important shopping center at our location in Mönchengladbach is our MINTO. In 2015, mfi Shopping Center Management GmbH, which now belongs to Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield GmbH, opened the center with over 100 shops.
Since then, the service-oriented 4-star establishment has also been gaining in importance among our neighbors in the Netherlands. The ultra-modern shopping center also attaches great importance to smart solutions for its visitors in the two highly frequented multi-storey car parks with over 900 parking spaces.
In the future, visitors will be welcomed digitally via entervo.sign at the main entrances. This will also enable the management to display relevant advertising at these points. Cameras will be installed at all entrances and exits, which will register the vehicle registration number in compliance with data protection regulations and then control the respective barrier. Once the parking process has been paid for, the exit opens automatically. Payment is modern and digital: customers can pay the parking fee online via entervo smart web pay. This payment website can be accessed easily and conveniently, e.g. by scanning a QR code. Of course, payment is also possible at one of the 7 cashless machines. The machines at the exits also accept cash. To discount the parking process, QR codes are linked to the entervo Retail Campaign module.
Those who are already registered with a mobility provider, such as easypark, simply use their vehicle registration number and receive their statement online. A state-of-the-art ticketless, sustainable, and innovative system for a state-of-the-art center.
Janina Cho, Deputy Centre Manager: "We are excited to soon offer our visitors an enhanced and improved service and a more modern parking experience. It will be future-oriented, convenient, simple and sustainable - an absolute added value for our customers and our city".
