Scheidt & Bachmann: Installation of the Parking System of the CETIS Bus Station in Ibiza
Scheidt & Bachmann Ibérica has recently installed the parking control and management system at the Intermodal Transfer and Services Center (CETIS) bus station in Ibiza.
The Ibiza bus station has reopened its doors after a refurbishment which included the renewal of the parking control and management system, relying on the Scheidt & Bachmann teams, which incorporate the latest technological developments, such as automatic opening by reading registrations for paid users and customers with the ticket paid, in addition to a wide variety of discount modalities. The installed system includes two entrances, two exits, four license plate reading cameras, two ATMs for varied collection, and one for card payment.
The CETIS is an intermodal building whose mission is to contribute to the development of Ibiza in the area of public and private transport by managing the service activities commissioned by the council. It is a complex of 18,000 m2 structured in 7 blocks/towers in the center of the city of Ibiza, next to the Masía Sa Colomina. It consists of five floors and two underground. The first two are intended for commercial establishments and the remaining three are dedicated to office space. The Ibiza bus station is semi-underground and connects most of the island's intercity lines. It has 12 interior platforms and 5 on the surface.
Sergio González Delgado, General Director of Scheidt & Bachmann Ibérica, has commented on this new project: "The implementation of the parking system of the Ibiza Bus Station is a very representative project for Scheidt & Bachmann, it is located in a privileged tourist enclave, and confirms our progressive growth in the Balearic Islands”.
Inspired by our slogan, Passion for Parking, we are looking forward to many more installations in 2023!
