In these times, when hotel occupancy is difficult to calculate, offering a car park for three hotels entails imponderables. Therefore, it only makes sense to allow supplementary short-term parking for use, especially if the car park is situated in a good downtown location.

For the "Hotel-Trio" project in Düsseldorf, we were asked to offer an appropriate solution. At the entry, motorists can choose between two different customer groups: Hotel guests and short-term parkers have their own request button for the parking ticket. At the same time, the license plate number is recorded and stored in the parking management system together with the ticket data. The motorist drives to the correspondingly designated "Hotel" or "Public" parking area.

If the public area is occupied, the request button for this parking area is blocked at the entry lane. Only hotel guests are allowed to enter. This ensures that there are always enough parking spaces available for hotel guests. The parking management system is additionally controlled by different tariffs - in this application only the hotel guest can get a discount.

In addition, our system is connected via an interface to the camera-based single parking space system, which monitors the designated parking zones accordingly.
