Scheidt & Bachmann: Digitalization of the Parking Process With entervo smart go
Our long-standing innovative customer, PMG Parken in Mainz GmbH, has consistently relied on state-of-the-art technologies for its 28 parking garages and facilities.
For years, the municipal operator has been offering its customers an automated discount system with "Park & Go". Currently, around 19,000 customers enjoy the benefits of registered short-term parking: in addition to a 10% discount on every parking transaction, registered customers no longer need to visit the automatic pay station. PMG uses the entervo smart go product from Scheidt & Bachmann Parking Solutions for this purpose.
As part of the ongoing digitization initiative, the goal is to switch to license plate recognition as a medium as widely as possible in the coming years, allowing more frequent use of CameraPark from the mobility provider. Consequently, all systems have been updated to the latest release, entervo V3, and will receive an upgrade for license plate recognition.
PMG is launching this project with the Schillerplatz parking garage, which has already been converted to an entervo hybrid system. The entervo.sign product in the lanes ensures optimal communication with parking customers.
"This allows PMG to stay at the forefront of parking management and continuously optimize parking processes. License plate recognition enables faster and more convenient entry and exit, and there will be fewer traffic jams at the barrier. PMG is committed to significantly improving mobility and quality of life in Mainz," says Nils Teske, Managing Director PMG Parken in Mainz GmbH.
Modular expansion. Sustainable thinking.
