Scheidt & Bachmann Announces a New Distributor Agreement With Butts Ticket Systems
Scheidt & Bachmann USA, Inc. (“S&B”) and Butts Ticket Systems (“BTS”) announced the signing of their channel partnership agreement whereby Butts Ticket Systems will become a sales, distribution, and service provider for new S&B customers in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US.
Headquartered in Cochranville, Pennsylvania, BTS has been operating a customer-focused printing business since 1965 that caters to the Parking & Transportation industries. In 2013 BTS expanded their capabilities into the technology space by signing a distribution agreement with one of the global leaders of multi-space parking solutions. As part of this new relationship with Scheidt & Bachmann, BTS will now be able to sell and support additional off-street parking technologies and expand upon an already strong presence for both BTS and S&B in the Mid-Atlantic region.
For Scheidt & Bachmann, their partnership with Butt Ticket Systems aligns with their revamped Go-To-Market strategy of selling and supporting their products in select regions through a distributor-based model here in North America. Until recently, the company had operated exclusively with a “manufacturer direct” approach throughout the US and Canadian markets.
“We are thrilled to have this latest opportunity with Butts Ticket Systems” said Bill Geraghty, CAPP, Managing Director for Scheidt & Bachmann USA. “Mitch Butts and his team are an extremely talented group of professionals that also share our passion for delivering advanced parking technologies and a great customer experience. I’m excited to be working with them.”
Mitchell Butts, President of Butts Ticket Systems stated "We are proud to partner with a reputable PARCS manufacturer like Scheidt & Bachmann. For over 50 years, S&B has set a standard in the PARCS space, and we aim to carry on that tradition by increasing the S&B footprint while also providing our customers with a value-added local touch. S&B's suite of proven hardware and software solutions will be a welcome addition to our portfolio and a great benefit to our customers."
Scheidt & Bachmann says similar announcements with additional key channel partners are in the works for other select markets around North America as they continue to enhance their Go-To-Market strategy in ways that benefit both their customers and the business as a whole.
