Successful 'Parken 2009' Fair in Wiesbaden, Germany
The team of Scheidt & Bachmann can look back to two successful fair days on the occasion of the expert meeting of the Deutscher Parkhausverband.
A very good fair stand visited by existing and potential new customers, and mostly high-quality discussions this is the result of this year's 'Parken' in Wiesbaden. The interest in this year focused on the entervo.com 1 software. The visitors were able to convince themselves of the continuous development of entervo, since the first launch on Intertraffic 2008 in Amsterdam, and of the permanent adaptation to the market requirements since then. Consequently, a new entervo release could be introduced already on 'Parken 2009'.
The Fair Stand visitors concentrated above all on the improved service and performance offers that the car park operators could offer. Presentations concerning eCommerce were a strong motive of interest, like the online reservation system with the subject 'Centralization'. VMI (Visual Management Interface) on the cell and master levels were considered as an attractive improvement of operating comfort.
On the Intertraffic still presented in the Future Corner, GMD (Global Management Dashboard) has meanwhile achieved its market maturity. This module offers at one glance major information to decision-makers, by efficient monitoring of the business processes using ID monitoring and online analysis.
Special attention among the improvements and new developments found the access media for comfort parking and the flexibility of access media. Long-range transponders tags without batteries and a combined processing of side-strip and barcode tickets in one terminal offer capabilities for new operation concepts.
Thanks to the flexibility of entervo, there are now advertising messages, occupation data and other information appearing even on barrier arms. It is very easy to set running texts using a configuration menu or the occupation status, respectively.
