Smart Solutions for City of Luxembourg

We are incredibly proud of the order we received from the city of Luxembourg! The city has the ambition to elevate city parking to a higher level and has chosen to team up with Scheidt & Bachmann. As “Leaders in Smart Parking” we endorse this ambition and are looking forward to a great partnership. With our presence at Luxembourg Airport, CFL Belval and Hospital Robert Schuman this project gives an extra boost to our current position in Luxembourg.

The city of Luxembourg has decided to replace the parking management systems in seven public parking garages. Therefore they have chosen the brand new Scheidt & Bachmann entervo line, completed with different Smart Solutions to guarantee an optimal parking experience for its users.

In phase one, Spring 2019, the garages Centre Sportif Cents, Neipperg and Knuedler, are fitted with the new parking equipment. In the second phase four more garages, of which some still need to be built, will be fitted with the same equipment. Next to placing these systems, we also perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

Smart Solutions

Improving the quality of inner city parking is the main goal for the city of Luxembourg. Which they easily achieve through the addition of different Smart Solutions to the new systems: the entervo.checkout app, entervo.validation portal, entervo.analytics and a Parking Guidance system.

With the checkout app it is possible for customers to pay the parking fee through a mobile app. Paying at a pay terminal will no longer be necessary and will save the user time while leaving the garage. By using the validation portal stores, hotels, restaurants etc. can give online discounts through the app. Because no extra investment is required from these companies, it is an excellent way of offering extra service to their customers.

The placement of the video system, the intercom, the Parking Guidance System and the cabling are being done in partnership with Socom.
