Scheidt & Bachmann Installs Cashless Parking in Four Car Parks in Neuss
Visitors to the four city car parks in Neuss, Germany, can park without a paper ticket as of 1 October 2019. The City Parkhaus Neuss GmbH has awarded Scheidt & Bachmann the contract for the ticketless solution. The system is based on the latest version of entervo.connect, complemented by RFID antennas.
Customers only have to register with one of four mobility providers of the evopark MOBILITY CONNECT network in order to use the new service. The RFID chip parking card will be sent by post after registration.
The entire parking process for registered customers in the car parks Rheintor, Tranktor, Niedertor, and Rathaus-Garage runs seamlessly and cashlessly, thus simplifying the process and increasing convenience. The barriers open automatically on entry and exit. It is no longer necessary to draw a parking ticket or use the automatic pay station. This reduces maintenance costs. The refilling and disposal of tickets can be reduced as well. The operator also benefits from an optimized operational workflow.
The entry and exit times are registered digitally and assigned to the corresponding user account. The billing is carried out via the payment method chosen by the customer and according to the conditions of the respective evopark MOBILITY CONNECT partner. The mobility provider settles the parking costs with the customer once a month and forwards the revenue to the operator. Customers can access their invoices and parking times online at their selected provider.
