Scheidt & Bachmann in Westfield Hornsby Shopping Centre, Australia

The management of Westfield Hornsby Shopping Centre have decided to introduce a Car Park Management System by Scheidt & Bachmann.
S&B 12.12.08.jpgMore than 50 devices, i.e., entry and exit devices, barriers, automatic pay stations, have been installed and now provide for a smooth service. The system is a combination of barcode tickets and transponder cards. Short-term parkers receive a barcode ticket at the entry, while season parkers use a transponder card as access permit.

For the data that is processed and managed in the Car Park Management System, an extended server system is available that has been generated on the server platform desired by the customer. By corresponding authorizations, Westfield has direct access to the data base with all relevant parking data. This permits another internal use, such as company-internal reports and audits, respectively.
The Westfield Hornsby Shopping Centre offers its customers more than 3,500 parking lots. Numerous information desks are equipped with Scheidt & Bachmann discount devices, where the customers can apply parking discounts to their parking tickets. At the 15 automatic pay stations of the PKA35 series, they can pay cash and by cashless methods. When paying in cash, it is possible to get the change also in banknotes. The pay stations of this series are recognized by their slim, attractive design.
The local on-site service and project support in Australia are undertaken by competent teams of the subsidiary company Scheidt & Bachmann Australia and our Australian partner TMA. Operational reliability is ensured also by a 24/7 Helpdesk and Hotline Service.
