Scheidt & Bachmann Equips the Parking Lot of Santa Creu University Hospital in Vic.

Scheidt & Bachmann Ibérica has recently been awarded the adjudication of the parking system of the Hospital de la Santa Creu, located in the Catalan town of Vic. Our company has a large presence in Catalonia, where it disposes 47 facilities, five of them in Vic, and one more in the nearby town of Manlleu.

The project will include the latest parking solutions, including the signalling system and lighting guidance, as well as VIA-T technology. The devices to be installed are part of the latest generation of Scheidt & Bachmann equipment, characterised by their great reliability, resistance and ease of configuration.

The Hospital de la Santa Creu de Vic was founded in 1348, and has a rich architectural heritage, preserving a Gothic nave, the Renaissance façade and courtyard, and a Baroque cloister. The architectural complex is protected as a Local Cultural Interest.

In 1987 a process of renovation began, and IT currently comprises a nursing home for the elderly, a day hospital, and a socio-health hospital, with a palliative care unit, a model for this type of care in Spain. The Hospital de la Santa Creu de Vic Foundation, the hospital's titular institution, received the Sant Jordi Cross in 1998.

The awarding of this project is a great incentive for Scheidt & Bachmann and its expectations to continue growing in Catalonia. We look forward many more installations during 2019!
