New England’s Gateway Center Garage Installs New PARCS Systems
Scheidt & Bachmann recently contracted with the Gateway Center Garage in Newton, MA to handle the PARCS installation for the multi-use facility. The facility, which is operated by LAZ Parking and owned by J.F White properties, consists of a hotel component as well as a tenant used office building.
Considered a Boston area landmark constructed over the Mass Pike roadway, Gateway Center consists of one garage with two entry/exit terminals and a central cashier station. The facility is currently rebuilding the entrance to the garage to accommodate an extra reversible lane. “We are very excited to be the PARCS provider for the Gateway Center garage as it is a premier multi-use facility in downtown Newton,” comments Tim Rowland, the Sales Executive in charge of the New England project. “Our commitment to customization is exhibited through our dedication to both small and large PARCS projects. Every project is unique and we believe they all deserve a personalized solution.” The project is expected to finish by July.
