ARAG Big Air Freestyle Festival - Digital VIP and online parking at the Borussiapark

Scheidt & Bachmann together in cooperation with partners evopark and APAG now offers a new online parking system for ticket sales online and onsite for the parking management company PPG Nordpark.

The system was used for the first time at the ARAG Big Air Freestyle Festival on 12.02 and 12.03.2016 in Mönchengladbach. Online VIP and normal QR code parking tickets can be purchased to comfortably park the vehicle in the parking areas at the venue. A simple display of the QR code on smart phones at the entrance of the carpark suffices. Guests without tickets will be assisted on their lane through handheld devices. The parking ticket is settled at the end of the event.

Lothar Backes, Managing Director of PPG Nordpark, explains further advantages: "The online parking ticket saves time, since the search for change money and paying on the spot are eliminated. In addition, we can accelerate the process for the guests, which minimizes the backlog".

In the future, further projects will be held at major event venues and event car parks, e.g. in concerts or at the Deutsche Fußball Bundesliga.
