Cologne/Bonn Airport has decided upon the online car park reservation system of Scheidt & Bachmann
Flight passengers who start their trip from Cologne/Bonn Airport can in future have their parking lot reserved via the website of the airport.
The airport and the car park operator have decided to install the online car park reservation system by Scheidt & Bachmann. This system permits an automated utilization, starting with the reservation on internet right to the entry and exit in the indoor car parks at the airport. The benefits for the flight passenger are clearly on hand: an improved service by comfortable booking and payment of the reservation via internet and a stress-free approach to the airport, because there will not be any search for a vacant parking lot.
As an aid of decision, the successful integrations of comparable Scheidt & Bachmann reservation systems at the airports of Berlin-Schönefeld, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart may certainly have been helpful. The design of the reservation website has been implemented independently in look & feel of the airport website by the general airport organization. The SOAP interface (simple object access protocol) provided by Scheidt & Bachmann is used for the communication with the online reservation system.
The operator can actively influence the load capacities of the parking areas by means of adjustable tariffs. Optionally he can combine it with variable options of reduction, using the discounting module.
