Scheidt & Bachmann Awarded New Parking System Contract at Orzán Riazor

Despite the economic slowdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Scheidt & Bachmann Ibérica continues to win projects, and was recently awarded a contract to renew the control and management system of the Orzán Riazor car park, located in the Galician town of A Coruña.

At 1500 metres long, the Orzán Riazor car park runs along the Orzán and Riazor beaches. It has direct exits to these beaches as well as to the Riazor stadium. Its privileged location allows it to accommodate a large number of visitors. Other characteristics most appreciated by its users are its security provided by its surveillance, its ample spaces, and its 24 hours availability every day of the year.

The car park system will initially be equipped with four entry devices, three exit devices, seven barriers, five automatic pay stations, four discount stations and six cameras for license plate recognition. The Hotel Solution software has also been included in the project, making it possible to implement different agreements and commercial initiatives with nearby hotels.

Scheidt & Bachmann has a large presence in Galicia, with 71 installations, 13 of them in A Coruña. The award of Orzán Riazor is a great incentive for Scheidt & Bachmann and its prospects to continue growing in the area. We hope to make many more installations during 2020!
