A comprehensive guided parking solution by Quercus Technologies now enables the management of 428 parking spaces in the La Española car park in Montevideo, Uruguay. The four SmartLPR Access license plate recognition cameras installed in the parking facility read the license plates of vehicles entering and leaving the outdoor areas. This way, the system knows exactly how many vehicles are in the area, and if there is any available parking.

Drivers can forget where they parked their vehicle several hours ago. Why? Because the parking solution features a tool that allows users to quickly and easily locate the parking space where their vehicle is parked. This feature, called “Find your car”, is provided by Quercus Technologies as part of the parking solution that the company offers.

Thanks to the BirdWatch parking management software, operators and users can pinpoint the location of any vehicle inside the parking facility, simply by introducing its license number.
