Quercus LPR technology for increased automation and smart mobility

Quercus LPR technology

On the occasion of Gulf Traffic 2014, Quercus will hold a seminar on 9th of December during which Eduard Gil, Quercus Sales Manager, will present “Increasing automation and smart mobility in parking with advanced LPR technology”, describing key aspects on how ANPR technology applied to the parking industry can lead to better mobility and increase safety.

Within a "smart city" concept, the smart mobility principle can be applied to car parks that have evolved into spaces that help the mobility process to take place as smoothly and safety as possible.

During this seminar, Quercus will present the benefits of the LPR technology that nowadays counts with units designed to be user-friendly and accessible. The plug-and-play architecture of Quercus LPR units and their internal web-server configuration provide an easy installation and a fast setup. Increased automation and centralization of car park management is provided by means of the remotely controllable motorized lens which enables the user to set the zoom and the focus.

ANPR technology, as well as other ITS technologies, aims to contribute to reliable detection and smart mobility, while conveying the idea of a parking garage being a comfortable place to stop and pass through.
