Quercus Techologies Improve Access, Safety and Security Worldwide with Latest Projects

Quercus Technologies has demonstrated its commitment to improving access and increasing security at parking facilities around the world with three new projects in Coslada, Montreal and at Muscat International Airport.

Quercus Technologies' Smart LPR Access integrates everything necessary to provide the highest reliability rates in license plate recognition, and the web-based configuration and remote control zoom lens make the installation easier than ever.

Increasing Safety and Security in Coslada

The city council of Coslada has installed SmartLPR Access cameras at the entrance and exit of the private parking at the local police station. This equipment facilitates automatic access to the institution, ensuring safety on site by only allowing employees access to the facility.

Guiding Drivers at H2S in Montreal

Quercus Technologies’ parking guidance system now controls the 51 parking spots of Home 2 Suites in Montreal. Spot Control sensors have been installed at the facility, these cameras recognize the vehicles’ plates and also provide video monitoring in every parking spot, constituting thus a highly reliable guidance system. Quercus has also equipped the facility with different LED displays in order to direct the users.

Spot Control sensors have all you need in order to read plates and detect vehicles. They are provided with LED lights in a wide range of colors, a harder and tighter housing and they manage information thanks to the Spot Control functionality of the Birdwatch platform.

Improving Access Control at Muscat International Airport

46 SmartLPR Access cameras now control all entries and exits of the International Airport of Muscat, reading the plates of the vehicles using the premises. The control of the access points enables the owners of the parking increased surveillance, offering higher security for the users of the premises.

More than 40 lanes, giving access to one of busiest airports in Oman, have been equipped with the enhanced new products of Quercus Technologies, including cameras with integrated OCR and an interactive and intuitive interface, developing a complete parking experience.
