Guarulhos International Airport and Bahrain International Airport Choose Quercus Technologies

Cameras installed in the two airports are providing operators with improved oversight of their facilities.

Guarulhos International Airport, in the homonymous district of the Brazilian city of São Paulo, is installing 12 SmartLPR Access cameras from Quercus Technologies in the access and exit lanes of its parking facility. The equipment will add to the 39 units it already installed onsite. In addition to this, Quercus’ BirdWatch platform will integrate the SmartLPR Access cameras with the parking operator's existing system.

Bahrain International Airport also joins the list of Quercus Technologies’ references on plate recognition. 12 SmartLPR Access cameras survey the entries and exits of the airport’s parking lot, giving the operator greater oversight of who is entering and leaving the facilities and guaranteeing a greater, global control of the parking facility.

The facilities at Bahrain International Airport were built in 1936 on the island of Al-Muharraq and their capacity and quality has been increasing ever since. Since 2009, a huge inversion has been made in order to expand and improve the facilities, including the parking and parking access.

Guarulhos and Bahrain join Quercus Technologies' long list of airport references of their license plate reading cameras, including among others, the airports of Larnaka (29 cameras), Athens (20), Dublin (35), Domodedovo in Moscow (30), Ben Gurion (124), Muscat (46) and Santiago de Chile ( 21).
