Airports, Offices and Casinos All Benefit from Quercus’ Smart LPR Access and HRR Technology

Quercus’ latest projects at Hamad Medical Corporation, Pafos International Airport, and Cirsa Casino demonstrate the diversity of their SmartLPR Access solution and showcase the many benefits of their new HRR technology.

Access and Exit Improved at the Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar

The Hamad Medical Corporation building located in Doha, Qatar, has upgraded its parking facility with more than 90 units of Quercus Technologies' SmartLPR Access. Following the installation, the corporation has improved its control over entries and exits of the facility, and can now compile information and data of interest for the parking owner whilst reinforcing security in the building.

HMC is the largest healthcare provider in Qatar and one of the best hospital service providers in the Middle East. For over four decades it has been dedicated to the health sector. It controls more than 12 hospitals, as well as the national ambulance service and residential care services.

Pafos International Airport Equipped with 12 SmartLPR Access Cameras

Pafos International Airport, the second largest airport in Cyprus, has become Quercus Technologies’ second project on the island, for SmartLPR Access. These license plate readers improve control and security at the entrances and exits of the car park, helping to prevent fraud and ticket exchange, as well as vehicle theft.

Pafos, with its 12 SmartLPR Access, joins the Larnaca Airport, which has 29 of these same units at its access and exit point. Together they join a long list of airports that have been equipped with the Quercus license plate reading product.

HHR Leads to Improved Performance at Cirsa Casino in Valencia

The new Quercus Technologies’ solution, HRR (High-Reliability Recognition), is one of the best options available in the parking sector for increasing the license plate recognition rate. It achieves a high success rate reading the plates when a vehicle is entering or leaving a parking lot. The Cirsa Casino, in the city of Valencia, is one of the latest companies which bet on Quercus’ double license plate recognition. Two SmartLPR Access cameras were installed in the entries and exits of the parking of the building in order to obtain higher reliability of the license plate recognition.

The casino has a solid commitment to sustainability and has been built with local materials, helping to minimize carbon emissions from both construction and maintenance. The artificial intelligence of Quercus’ products enhances the eco-efficient casino that uses solar energy to reduce electricity consumption and being less harmful to the environment.
