World series driver Xavier Maassen raced into Q-Park Clerys

Champion World Series Dutch Driver Xavier Maassen raced into to new Q-Park Clerys at the opening of this car park which now offers unique parking services.
Xavier Maassen and his team powered into town on September 4th, for the official opening of Q-Park Clerys, Dublin's most state of the art car parking facility.

In March 2007, European parking company Q-Park entered into a two-year sponsorship deal, in which they have become head sponsor of Xavier Maassen during the World Series by Renault. Having made seven podium appearances in 2006, Xavier is now striving for top position in Castle Donington UK.

Following an €11m investment, Q-Park Clerys reaches new levels of quality, service, safety, style and hospitality. Located on Marlborough Street, Q-Park Clerys is now a 621-space, state-of-the-art multi story car park. Trends towards smaller, economical cars mean Mums today occasionally either forget to put the baby buggy in the boot, or there's simply not room for it. Customers can borrow baby buggies and umbrellas for the duration of their stay, while friendly and fully-trained professional hosts will assist customers with shopping bags, flat-tyres and dead batteries.

Parking is easy with wide, clearly marked, angled spaces, few central pillars and smooth, and comfortable surfaces, ample parent and baby spaces are available near all the exits. City maps and information screens allow customers to get their bearings and identify local points of interest. Q-Park even has a defibrillator installed in the case of emergencies.

Ray Peers, Chief Executive of Q-Park explained the need for such a facility, "Today people are more mobile than ever, travelling greater distances and more frequently. Whether they travel to shop, or work, they wish to reach their final destination as efficiently, comfortably and safely as possible. Research has show that people expect a 24-hour reliable service, and products and services that suit their way of living. At Q-Park customers can borrow baby buggies and umbrellas, while friendly and fully trained parking hosts will assist customers with flat-tyres and dead batteries along with a host of other services."

This launch of Q-Park Clerys will mark the beginning of a new and exciting era in the car parking industry with the expansion of the Q-Park brand and quality car parks in Ireland.
