Sale of interest in Q-Park
Engineer consultancy company Grontmij is engaged in an extensive restructuring of its operations. Grontmij acquired a 20% interest in Q-Park in 1998. Grontmijs stake in the company has been progressively diluted by a series of share issues in recent years.
Since it does not intend to increase its investment in Q-Park and in the light of Q-Park’s growth plans, Grontmij has decided to sell its stake in the company and has reached agreement with its fellow Q-Park-shareholders to dispose of its current 5.94% holding in Q-Park. with retroactive effect from 1 January 2003.
Q-Park intends to grow its market share in the European parking market in the coming years. The sale of interest will not have an effect on the strategic plans of the parking company. Q-Park is currently active in Belgium, Germany, England, France, Ireland and The Netherlands.
