Q-Park Ltd, part of the Dutch based Q-Park Group, has acquired airport-parking operator, Airpark (Glasgow) Ltd

A well-established private Scottish company, Airpark (Glasgow) celebrated its twentieth year of trading in December 2003. Colin Reid, previous owner and founder of Airpark started the airport parking business in December 1984. Airpark was one of the first quality parking companies to operate airport parking, offering 24-hour security and car valeting. “I am delighted about this acquisition and myself and my management team will be staying on at Airpark. My heart lies in this company and Airpark will retain its personal, close-knit family approach to its services,” stated Reid, “Q-Park is leading the way in quality parking and they have just bought a very good company, Airpark is the leading brand name in Scottish airport parking.” Reid will continue at Airpark as manager responsible.
