ParkMark awarded to all Q-Parks Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre car parks
Every one of Q-Parks 18 operational car parks across the Queen Elizabeth Medical Centres (QEMC) site in Birmingham, including Selly Oak Hospital two miles away, have been accredited with ParkMark awards.
The awards were given to Q-Park’s four car parks at Selly Oak Hospital (part of the QEMC), and fourteen serving the three hospitals on the QEMC site - five car parks for the Women’s Hospital, two for the South Birmingham Mental Health Trust, and seven for University Hospital Birmingham. All the car parks operate 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Site manager Kevin Groombridge said that he is enormously proud of the achievement, which is owed to his team’s exceptional dedication and hard work and Q-Park’s absolute commitment to secure, high quality parking facilities.

Q-Park is currently developing a number of other car parks at the QEMC, including a 1200-space multi-storey car park, which will serve staff, patients and visitors for all three hospitals at the site.
