projekt w Installs Safety Barriers in car park of Medical Center in Amsterdam

projekt w recently worked with the Slotervaart Medical Center in Amsterdam to provide the safety of the seven level parking facility. The car park is now equipped with INTEGRA 943 safety barriers for people and car crash protection.

The 1,200 bay car park caters to both visitors and staff and is a high traffic area. With the INTEGRA safety barriers, pedestrians and drivers can ensure their safety when parking and navigating inside the car park. The car park for the Slotervaart Medical Center is also equipped with additional bamboo cladding to maintain the aesthetic feel of the car park.

The INTEGRA safety barriers offer decisive technical, economic and sustainable advantages to other barriers such as greater compatibility with car park manufacturers and a better aesthetic result. In addition, the safety barriers guarantee that, in case of a crash, the load will be relieved into the substructure provided by the customer ensuring the safety of the overall parking structure.

For this project, projekt w worked together with the Ballast Nedam Parking construction company and the architects at De Jong Gortemaker Algra architecten en ingenieurs B.V.
