projekt w: INTEGRA-pw 3.5 Safety Barrier Joins Big Furniture Shop´s Car Park
A further project where our INTEGRA-pw safety barrier system was used is the big furniture shop car park in Karlsruhe. This is directly adjacent to the furniture store and has 5 floors with 3 park decks - spiral ramps connect the different levels. Transport traffic had to be taken into account on an intermediate level of the ramp.
The collaboration with Assmann Beraten und Planen GmbH, Berlin once again proved to be very successful in this projects.
The car park has 1350 spaces and is used by both customers and for deliveries, so that the INTEGRA-pw 1143 safety barrier was used on the park decks and the INTEGRA-pw 1143-3.5 um safety barrier in the ramp areas.
The INTEGRA-pw 1143-3.5 safety barrier has been designed so that it can absorb the dynamic impact loads according to EN 1991-1-7 (for cars and transporters with a maximum permissible weight of 3.5 t and 10 km/h) and transfer these into the substructure to ensure safe driving up and down the ramps.
This has been combined with a type 1.2, plain panel glare protection, which can be fastened directly to the mesh elements with no need for any further substructure.
