projekt w Provide Collision and Fall Protection at Vejle Hospital Car Park

projekt w’s latest installation is in Denmark at the Vejle Hospital. Rumoured to be the most beautiful car park in the region of Southern Denmark, the Vejle Hospital car park opened in August 2019.

From the top parking level of the 20 meter high building you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the city center  of Vejle - and the Vejlefjord Bridge. The 20 meter high building is intended to make parking easier for patients and relatives. The parking garage is six stories high and has space for 408 cars. The striking facade consists of LED-illuminated glass slats. This creates a dynamic facade with different reflections, light and shadow conditions, which at the same time ensures natural ventilation of the building.

In the evening, the glass slats are illuminated by LED lights, which can be varied in color and pattern, creating wonderful evening lighting. In order to ensure collision and fall protection of the vehicles, over 600 running meters of galvanized fall protection INTEGRA 1143 from projekt w was installed. Only with this filigree car park fall protection could the open facade be implemented with the appealing glass cladding.
