Projekt W Barriers at Eckernförde Car Park
The car park at the harbor in Eckernförde is not a traditional standard garage, but an award-winning, light façade made of 4,100 ceramic bars with the look and feel of brick and wood.
The realization of the light façade of the car park was made possible thanks to projekt w’s INTEGRA safety barrier. The barriers not only provide an aesthetically pleasing look to the car park but also ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians.
The INTEGRA safety barriers guarantee the discharge of occurring loads in the case of a car in accordance with DIN EN 1991-1-7 into the substructure (steel columns). In addition, INTEGRA fulfills the requirements of DIN EN 1991-1-1 for fall protection systems.
The car park offers visitors a total of 177 parking spaces flooded with natural light throughout the three decks and six displacement levels.
