K-Supermarket Ukko-Pekka in Naantali Opened Doors To The New Store And Introduced Innovative Portier Parking Guidance System To Its Customers
Grocery store called K-Supermarket Ukko-Pekka has been in Naantali since 1980 serving its customers exceptionally well and winning consecutive awards for being the best supermarket in the Southwest Finland.
In 2023 the construction work for a new modern supermarket was kicked off in the opposite location of the old premises, and in the end of November 2024, customers were welcomed for the grand opening of the new store. The new store is extremely modern, energy friendly and has been able to widen its product selection even further. The store chose also a cutting-edge Portier
Parking Guidance System designed to enhance the shopping experience for driving customers. When entering the parking area of the store, a Portier parking sign is indicating the number of available parking space in the parking facility. The new supermarket has an indoor parking garage in which Sonic space specific ultrasonic sensors have been installed. Availability of free spaces are indicated by green leds, blue lights are inviting EVs for designated spaces and orange leds are meant for personnel parking – same colour as K Group.
