The City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin is taking a major step toward modernizing its parking operations by partnering with Passport, the technology leader in parking compliance and curbside payment solutions. By adopting Passport’s innovative platform, the City aims to streamline its parking permit and enforcement systems, improving compliance and creating a more efficient and user-friendly experience for both residents and city staff.
Through Passport’s secure online system, users can easily apply for, purchase, and manage their permits digitally, eliminating the need for paper-based systems. At the same time, city officials will gain access to robust tools for managing finances, inventory, and usage trends with greater transparency and efficiency.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Passport’s advanced technology to Oshkosh,” said Jim Collins, City of Oshkosh Transportation Director. “Whether our residents are applying for permits or navigating our parking system, this platform will provide them with a seamless experience, improve transparency, and enhance compliance.”
In addition to its new digital permitting capabilities, Oshkosh will use Passport’s platform to power its parking enforcement operations. The system enables real-time data access, streamlined ticketing and warning issuance, and better overall parking management, helping the City ensure seamless customer interactions, fair enforcement, and improved compliance.
“Cities like Oshkosh, Green Bay, and Appleton are leading the way in adopting modern solutions to address parking and compliance challenges,” said Jake Breig, Passport senior account executive. “With Passport, Oshkosh is leveraging data-driven technology to improve efficiency, enhance the resident experience, and make a positive impact on their community.”
