ParkHelp Completes Installation of Parking Guidance System at Twinbrook Quarter

ParkHelp has completed the installation of a state-of-the-art parking guidance technology solution at Twinbrook Quarter, a vibrant transit-oriented, mixed-use development in Rockville, MD. Developed by Saul Centers, Inc. (NYSE), Twinbrook Quarter offers a dynamic blend of residential, retail, and office spaces with a focus on sustainability and connectivity.
“We are thrilled to partner with Saul Centers to bring an innovative and seamless parking solution to Twinbrook Quarter,” said Colin Knell, President USA at ParkHelp. “This installation demonstrates Saul Centers’ commitment to providing the best possible experience to Twinbrook Quarter’s residents, shoppers, and business tenants, and that exceptional experience now begins with parking.”
ParkHelp’s cutting-edge parking guidance system dramatically improves the parking experience at Twinbrook Quarter by streamlining the process of finding available parking. Single space sensors and advanced camera counters monitor how many parking spaces are available on each floor and transmit that information to signage strategically located at parking entrances to help drivers quickly locate open parking spaces. ParkHelp’s parking guidance technology can reduce the amount of time it takes to find parking by as much as 20 minutes, while at the same time improving traffic flow and maximizing parking efficiency.
The Twinbrook Quarter parking guidance system features:
- Level B1: 286 spaces monitored by single-space License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras.
- Level B2: 366 spaces monitored by single-space LPR cameras.
- Level B3: 384 spaces tracked by advanced camera counters strategically placed on the ramp between Levels B2 and B3 to provide real-time vehicle counts.
The technology also provides detailed analytics to parking managers to support ongoing operational improvements.
