ParkCloud’s parking predictions
ParkCloud plays a vital role in connecting its car park operator clients with the driving public across the borders of the countries in which the company is present. Such countries are principally in Europe but also include a growing presence in the US, South America and Africa. To support these territories, ParkCloud’s team includes speakers of 26 different languages.
2013 saw the company’s coverage expand by another 10 countries, including some with excellent growth potential in 2014. With travellers the world over becoming aware of the choice available to them online, demand for parking reservation services is also on the increase.
Whilst the so-called “BRIC” countries have been much publicised as up-and-coming, those falling under the “MINT” banner (Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria, Turkey) will likely be in focus this year, and ParkCloud predicts that Russia and Turkey in particular will be the ones to watch in the travel sector.
In Russia, the low-cost airline market is taking off with the rumoured launch of Ryanair flights from Moscow this year, following routes to the city’s Domodedovo airport started by easyJet and Pegasus Airlines, along with Wizz Air’s Budapest-Moscow Vnukovo route since late 2013. With more routes to Russia’s principal cities in the pipeline from these and other carriers, such choice will clearly benefit outbound as well as inbound passengers.
In Turkey, recent developments have seen the country’s airports and airlines go through considerable growth. Turkish Airlines now offers more destinations than any other airline from its hub at Antalya airport, whilst low-cost carriers Pegasus and SunExpress continue to add new routes to their networks across Europe. In 2013, passengers travelling through Turkey increased by 15% compared to the previous year.
ParkCloud offers both its online reservation system and management systems in Russian and Turkish, providing a full package for parking providers in the countries. Moreover, ParkCloud’s >Direct parking reservations product is a tried and tested solution for increasing access to parking services; the system already features in the Turkish language through ParkCloud’s partnership with SunExpress, and in Russian on the website of Memmingen Airport in Germany.
Featuring a simple 3-step booking process to check availability, choose a service and confirm a booking, ParkCloud >Direct has already been chosen by airports across Europe, helping its clients to create an easy-to-use and much sought after online parking service, which complements an airport’s existing proposition.
