ParkCloud Moves Up
ParkCloud, in 2013, has expanded to larger premises to continue generating reservations and revenue by connecting customers with parking spaces.
To accommodate such a busy business, ParkCloud needed to find a new and bigger office to provide its staff a relaxed but productive environment. Nothing seemed more appropriate than the former Manchester Evening News (MEN) building, where the regional daily was, until recently, published and printed. The building’s legacy is continued by ParkCloud’s core market in advertising media. Founded in 1927, the MEN newspaper was given out for free and funded through advertising: ParkCloud in a similar way promotes on a commission basis only.
So, the media legacy continues at:
ParkCloud, Wood Street
Stockport SK3 0DF, UK
During 2012 ParkCloud’s vital statistics have grown too to give in 2013:
22 Languages spoken;
30 Countries covered;
35 employees are divided between 3 main departments: Business Development, Operations and Systems;
Business Development focusing on finding new sales channels, broadening a car park’s audience and brand image and generating reservations;
Operations ensuring live price and information updates for car parks including availability, services and contact details;
Systems allowing ParkCloud to give all the technical support that a car park operator might need to work effectively on the web: online management, bespoke web design and XML/web services to integrate with systems already in place including hardware such as access control, barrier entry and ANPR.
