ParkCloud >Direct launched at Allgäu Airport in Memmingen
The arrival of June saw a new launch for ParkCloud’s full parking management product, ParkCloud >Direct, at Allgäu Airport, in Memmingen, Germany.
The airport joined a number of other parking providers already using ParkCloud >Direct to provide pre-booking of their parking spaces, directly through their own website. ParkCloud >Direct now allows availability of Memmingen Airport’s car parks to be confirmed online, and an advance booking to made by customers.
ParkCloud >Direct is a comprehensive solution for anyone looking to maximise the use of their parking spaces. Directly integrated into the car park owner’s website, ParkCloud >Direct provides the software for pre-booking of these spaces. This in turn allows the comparison of prices, services and availability, giving the customer maximum choice even before they have arrived.
For Allgäu Airport, set up was completed within a month of agreement, coinciding perfectly with the launch of the new airport website. The effects of the project could be seen from Day 1, when bookings began within half an hour of launch. Since then, the allocated pre-booking spaces in several car parks have been consistently sold out.
With all five of the airport car parks available for pre-booking, customers can now compare the price, service, and distance of each option, making the choice that suits them. Full payment taken online allows for a stress-free and more relaxed arrival at the airport for each customer. ParkCloud >Direct also allows dynamic pricing (yield management) which automatically adapts according to demand, maximising parking revenue for the airport.
