Greek regional airports hat trick for ParkCloud
Pre-booking specialist ParkCloud has got the first months of 2015 off to a good start by signing up a trio of Greek international airports.
The airports, members of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, have contracted with ParkCloud to deploy its >Direct parking reservation engine on the airports' respective websites.
Customers using the airports, which are served by a variety of airlines including Aegean, Air Berlin, Norwegian, Transavia and Ryanair, will henceforth be able to access information about the available facilities before making their journey, and book their parking space in advance.
In addition, all three of the airports are already starting to benefit from ParkCloud's expertise in marketing services, alongside distribution via its travel brand partners.
ParkCloud's >Direct Sales Manager, Nicole Fürst said about the deals: "We're continuing to expand our >Direct product around Europe, and are finding that demand for pre-booking is as strong as ever. >Direct really enhances services for the customer in the case of these airports, with its simplicity and easy integration into existing technology."
Chania "Daskalogiannis" International Airport in Crete, Greece's fifth busiest in terms of passengers, is available for customers to make parking bookings with immediate effect, soon to be joined by "Alexander the Great" and "Democritus" airports, both in the north-east of the Greek mainland. Democritus, serving Alexandroupoli, is a middle scale airport in terms of the conducted flights and transport of passengers, but following the dynamic growth of the region, is reportedly expected to be rapidly developed.
