Gdansk becomes third Polish airport to partner with ParkCloud
Lech Walęsa Gdansk International Airport has chosen ParkCloud as a marketing partner for its parking facilities.
The airport follows Poznań–Ławica Henryk Wieniawski Airport and Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport, both already partnered with ParkCloud, offering parking choice to meet consumer demand in the Polish market.
Located within walking distance of the airport terminal, the Long Term car park is now available for reservations through ParkCloud’s business to consumer platform ParkVia, where drivers can book parking in advance of their journey in both English and Polish. Being marketed on this platform also means the support of ParkCloud’s in-house customer service team for the facility, which is run by international parking management company APCOA.
In addition, Gdansk airport will benefit from ParkCloud’s long-standing partnership with Wizz Air. The low-cost carrier commands the largest share of flights from Gdansk, where it has a base of operations. Four new routes to destinations across Europe launch in 2015.
Enhancing travel services has been a key priority for Gdansk airport which experienced rapid growth in the first quarter of 2015, with a rise of 19.4% compared to the same period last year. Located in the north of the country, Gdansk offers flights to a wide range of European destinations, principally connecting the area to the UK, Germany and Scandinavia.
