ParkCloud extends collaboration with Bergamo Airport
ParkCloud has increased the presence of Bergamo Airport across its network with the roll-out of further parking areas.
The airport, also known as Orio al Serio International, was crowned third largest national airport in Italy after a record 2015, which saw nearly 10.5 million passengers making use of the facility, an increase of 18.6% over the previous 12 months. The hub is well located in northern Italy, which whilst easily reached from Milan, in addition also attracts passengers driving from southern Switzerland and Austria, and offers flights to more than 100 destinations.
The partnership between ParkCloud and the airport authority began in 2014, with an additional three products launched on ParkCloud's platform in recent weeks. Premium and budget offers have been extended with open air and covered spaces, to ensure that all drivers find the right product.
An integration with ViaMilano, the airport's management system, means a smooth experience for drivers when both entering and exiting each of the car parks. Fast and efficient automated access to the relevant car park is enabled via a six-digit PIN code.
Early results suggest strong demand for the extra services, now available for consumers to book via ParkCloud.
