ParkCloud Reveals City Centre Parking Reservations Up Fivefold Year-on-Year
ParkCloud’s city centre parking reservations are showing continuous growth in demand for pre-booking in city centres around Europe, with bookings made through the company’s systems increasing at a rate of fivefold.
The figure was drawn from data analysed through ParkCloud’s own comprehensive booking management and reporting platform ParkCloud.net, and demonstrates that drivers are taking the same attitude to city parking as they would at airports, train stations and ports - placing greater value on a guaranteed parking space through pre-booking, no longer leaving finding a parking space to chance. For ParkCloud this has meant continuous increase of demand for city centre parking services, and access to them online.
Always one to stay ahead of the curve, ParkCloud foresaw a lucrative opportunity in city parking when it first entered the market, and has since forged successful partnerships with national and international players in the sector such as AUSSA in Spain, Quick Parking in Italy, Q Park in the United Kingdom and Vinci Park in Bratislava.
ParkCloud’s commitment to working with like-minded, forward-thinking companies within city centre parking has brought drivers the same experience that they have become accustomed to at major airports, train stations and ports. The practicality that ParkCloud’s pre-booking systems offers, alongside on-site investments in technologies to improve security and facility management, have advanced city centre parking to rival the high bar set at airport car parking facilities, creating a more user-friendly, streamlined experience which customers are fast coming to expect.
ParkCloud’s presence across country borders has also ensured that drivers not only benefit from city centre parking on a local level but on an international level too. The stress of finding parking for drivers travelling from country to country is eliminated as customers have the option to easily pre-book a parking space at conveniently placed car parks in many key locations across Europe.
Looking forwards, ParkCloud continues to expand its presence in the city parking market, with a focus on spaces close to popular event venues. Most recently parking services a stone’s throw from the gates of the Milano Expo 2015, in Italy were added to ParkCloud’s global inventory, which perfectly complements parking already available in the heart of the city centre, including spaces close to the Centrale, Porta Garibaldi and Porta Romana train stations.
