Brussels South Charleroi Airport opens new low-cost parking service with ParkCloud’s booking system
Competition from private car parks close to Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA) has increased significantly in the past year, with more than 10 off-site facilities located around the airport. For BSCA, the answer was its very own low-cost parking option, which will open shortly in the former terminal building which closed in 2008.
Both underground and open-air car parks are available to customers looking to save money but not compromise on quality or security. The service includes a free shuttle bus that connects the car parking areas with the airport terminal, dropping customers off directly in front of the entrance.
Coinciding with the launch of the new facility, BSCA has chosen ParkCloud’s online reservation systems in order to satisfy customer demand to organise their travel plans in advance. ParkCloud will provide a stress-free experience for customers by employing both its >Direct and Core products.
>Direct, ParkCloud’s white label booking solution, was chosen by BSCA due to ParkCloud’s expertise in optimising booking conversion rates and connecting customers with the right parking space. ParkCloud will also provide end-user customer service from its in-house call centre in French, Dutch, German and English.
BSCA also recognised the advantages of joining the ParkCloud Core network of websites; distribution has been activated via ParkVia.com, ParkVia France, ParkVia Nederlands and ParkenFlughafen.com, allowing customers from Belgium and surrounding countries to easily find and book the new service in their own language. Customers will therefore be able to get information about the service from ParkCloud's team before their booking, and assistance on site from the airport's dedicated parking information desk. Moreover, ParkCloud Core’s extensive affiliate list means that, in the case of Brussels South Charleroi Airport, its new parking service will also be made available to Ryanair and Wizz Air customers through ParkCloud’s partnership with both airlines.
The low prices and close proximity to the airport terminal have already attracted a significant number of bookings; ParkCloud will continue to drive on the sales and marketing for this new parking service, providing bookings, web marketing consultancy and helping to expand sales channels.
