ParkCloud is 5

I’m Mark Pegler, Managing Director of ParkCloud. Whilst attending the UK’s main parking industry event, Parkex, in April, I was interviewed by Parking Network, which gave me cause to reflect on how far ParkCloud has come since we started the business in 2008.

ParkCloud recently passed its fifth anniversary, and in that time we’ve grown from 3 people to nearly 40; from 1 country to more than 30; and 2 languages to over 20. ParkCloud now works with partners across 5 continents and we’re expanding rapidly into exciting new markets like Brazil, Russia and Turkey.

When we moved from our (increasingly cramped) office to new premises at the end of 2012, we thought it might take a while to fill all the empty space we found ourselves with, but as the busy summer season approaches, more and more new faces are joining the ParkCloud team and spare desks are being quickly commandeered!

Change is a constant at ParkCloud, and it’s a motivating and stimulating time for the whole team as we take a tailored approach to each client’s goals to ensure maximum impact. For a business that works on results, it’s a must!

Looking to the next 5 years, ParkCloud is developing and launching new products which will see us entering new niches, forming new partnerships and furthering our aim to be the biggest provider of pre-booking facilities for parking, globally.

In addition to the dozens of websites we operate to help consumers choose the car park that is right for them, we are bringing the same service to individual operators of parking facilities, facilitating an insight into customers who previously would have been unknown to them.
