Q-Park and Parkmobile to Start Collaboration in Belgium
Belgium is the first European country where motorists can access Q-Park car parks via the Parkmobile app. As of today, users can access 45 garages with more than 20,000 parking spaces across the country. With this collaboration, both companies are responding to the needs of users and city councils to make more use of car parks instead of on-street parking. Q-Park car parks in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany will follow later. Through this collaboration, Parkmobile, part of PARK NOW, is taking a new step in facilitating contactless parking via the app.
Simple and Contactless
Parking in a Q-Park car park is easy and contactless. Users gain access via the app thanks to license plate recognition. The parking action starts and ends completely automated and contact-free. This allows users to save time and avoid increasing parking costs.
Plan Your Visit in Advance
Q-Park car parks are mainly located close to busy places like train stations or universities and are easy to locate via the search function in the Parkmobile app. Esther van der Meer, Country Manager Parkmobile Belgium, and the Netherlands: “Our Belgian users can now quickly and easily plan a visit to the city. Our app provides insight into 45 Q-Park car parks in 15 city centers. This allows us to help our customers and cities across the country with more than 20.000 efficient parking options. I’m very proud that Belgium is a European pioneer for this collaboration.”
