City of York Council Choose Orbility for a New Pay on Exit Parking Solution

Orbility are delighted to announce that they have been awarded a contract by the City of York Council (CYC) to provide their latest ticketless ANPR equipment.

The solution will comprise of barrier controls and pay stations offering cash, card, and contactless card payments, alongside LED information boards displaying parking tariffs, occupancy levels, and bespoke visitor information messages.

Initially targeting two car parks in Central York, Coppergate multi-storey car park (formerly Piccadilly), and Marygate Car Park, Orbility will provide centralized car park management and reporting software with integration to the City of York Council’s online parking permit system.

This is an exciting project where the City of York Council and Orbility are looking forward to a long and successful partnership, delivering an enhanced parking experience to all residents and visitors of York.
