Orbility Announced as New Name For Parking Solutions’ Business

Following the sale of the UK urban parking business to Off-Street Parking UK Limited (OSP), OSP president Laurent Gilles unveiled the company’s new trading name, Orbility, in Paris recently.

Operating from Portsmouth, Hampshire, Orbility – a fusion of ‘orbit’ to reinforce the global presence and ‘mobility’ which describes its operating sector – has established its head office at Mitchell Way, Portsmouth, where 24 employees are based.

The company supplies a diverse range of customers around the world, amongst them airports, shopping centers, municipalities, hotels, public and private operators, as well as smaller, local off-street parking.

Denis Brazzolotto, Head of Sales and Marketing at Orbility, said: “With almost 50 years’ experience and after operating under various former well-known names, the company has become a world leader in innovative off-street parking management systems.

“Technology has been a major driver and we now offer solutions such as Multipark Web Portal, which is quick to install, easy to use and requires little maintenance. It allows operators full and easy access in the supervision of parking, either locally or remotely.”

Solutions are tailored to fit customers’ requirements and range from paperless ticketing, lane configuration at entry and exit points, pay on foot stations, manual cashier terminals, loyalty schemes, customized welcome messages, online booking, and straightforward tariff manipulation when necessary, for example at weekends or for large events.

Both real-time supervisory functions and reports are easy to access via web and related interface applications, whilst video options exist which allow customer and control room to communicate. Support is available online and from a 24/7 call center.
