Opcharge Now Also Active in Municipality of Nieuwkoop

Municipality of Nieuwkoop and Opcharge will jointly supply the municipality with charging stations. The number of electric cars in the Netherlands is on the rise.

With the growth in the number of electric cars, the demand for public charging stations is also increasing. To meet the increasing demand, the municipality of Nieuwkoop has the ambition to have approximately 300 semi public charging points live by 2025 and approximately 500 semi public charging points by 2030.

Together with the municipality of Nieuwkoop, Opcharge will place charging stations on demand.
The charging stations will be placed to support the residents of Nieuwkoop in making mobility in the municipality more sustainable.
