NMI Strengthens Its C-Suite With New Chief Product Officer
Tiffany Johnson Joins NMI, Bringing More Than 15 Years Of Global Payment And Fintech Product Leadership Experience To The Executive Team
NMI, a leading full commerce enablement technology company, has hired Tiffany Johnson as its new chief product officer (CPO) to support NMI’s growing product suite.
Johnson brings more than 15 years of experience in payments, fintech, and finance to NMI, and she will ensure that user experience and scalability are at the core of all of NMI’s offerings. Johnson’s immediate priorities will focus on delivering a strong payments infrastructure to the market that prioritizes choice, modularity, and flexibility for NMI’s ISV and ISO partners.
“I’m passionate about using technology to create the best possible experience for consumers, and NMI’s product suite helps ISVs and ISOs equip merchants to do exactly that,” said Johnson. “NMI’s rapid growth and commitment to innovation make it an exciting time to join the team, and I’m looking forward to developing solutions that enable partners to grow their merchant-base with new offerings. Commerce and payment acceptance are core to economic growth, and NMI is well positioned to make a real impact.”
She most recently served as head of product for North America at UK-based Railsr (formerly Railsbank)., leading new product development in North America including banking, payments, debit, and credit "as-a-service" offerings. She was also recognized by American Banker as one of 2022’s Most Influential Women in Payments for being a change agent in the space. NMI brought Johnson on as CPO because of her award-winning leadership and diverse product portfolio that includes some of the top embedded finance and consumer-facing payment programs in the world.
“As we continue to drive more product innovation and solutions for our partners, Tiffany's deep payments experience makes her the perfect leader for our product team,” said Vijay Sondhi, CEO of NMI. “Tiffany’s expertise in innovative products centered around user design will help us deliver on our full commerce enablement vision to support merchants through every stage of their payments experience from signup to payout.”
This news comes on the heels of NMI’s four leadership hires in 2022, including a chief revenue officer, chief marketing officer, chief financial officer, and SVP of engineering. This leadership team, with the latest addition of Johnson, is creating an award-winning enablement platform that provides the full merchant experience.
NMI was recently recognized by G2 Research as a “Game-Changer in Payment Processing” and IRIS CRM (an NMI Company) was recognized as the “Best CRM for Payments Professionals” in the G2 Spring 2023 Report. Earlier this year, NMI was selected as a winner in the 2023 FinTech Breakthrough Awards, winning the “Best Payment Enablement Platform” award.
Parties interested in connecting with Tiffany Johnson or learning more about NMI’s full commerce enablement platform are invited to visit NMI during the upcoming Electronic Transactions Association’s TRANSACT conference in Atlanta on April 24 to 26 at booth 1213.
