National Parking Association Launches New Awards Program Honoring Influential Young Professionals in Parking

The National Parking Association (NPA) recently launched a new awards program recognizing the contributions of young up-and-coming leaders in the parking industry, 40 Under 40. NPA will select up to 40 individuals under the age of 40 to be inducted into the awards program and corresponding power network each year beginning in 2015.  

NPA will be accepting applications and nominations for the program through July 1, 2015. Selected honorees will become the inaugural class of an exclusive peer network group, the 40 Under 40 Power Network. Additionally, they will be recognized at the NPA Convention & Expo in Miami, FL, in Parking magazine, on WeAreParking.org and via media announcements.

“The intention of this program is to both recognize the impact of the best and brightest young professionals on the parking industry, and to also foster leadership development that will continue the innovation and growth,” explained NPA President Christine Banning, MA, CAE. “These are the movers and shakers who will take the parking industry into the future and we are pleased to give them a platform to stand up and be counted.”
