National Parking Association Names Jeff Wolfe Chairman of the Board of Leading Parking Industry Trade Group
Washington, DC —The National Parking Association (NPA) has elected Jeff Wolfe, president of The Car Park, of Boise, Idaho as chairman of the board of directors. Wolfe takes office for a two-year term effective Oct. 15, 2012.
Wolfe and the board will set the vision, advocacy agenda and professional development framework of the Association. During Wolfe’s tenure, NPA will focus on fundamental changes in the parking industry and the importance of technology adoption, professional training and a focus on key drivers of parking industry effectiveness. Wolfe will continue NPA’s focus on industry efforts to elevate business, community, industry and government outreach around the economic and policy issues facing the parking industry today.
Wolfe leads an independently owned commercial parking company with more than 100 parking facilities, 120 employees and management operations in Idaho, Virginia, Nebraska and Kansas. Previously, he served as a senior vice president with Central Parking System managing 8,000 employees and thousands of parking locations. He has significant experience with operations management, mergers & acquisitions, equity parking consulting, financial management, employee training and market development.

Wolfe said, “Over the next two years, NPA will continue to expand its outreach, industry research, focus on technology & innovation and core professional development programs to advance parking industry policy positions, foster career development, organizational success.” He added, "NPA is the fastest growing parking association in North America because of a growing base of best practices, parking sector-specific training and a focus on the business fundamentals that fuel private and public sector success in parking.”
Wolfe has held national Board of Directors roles since 1998. Most recently, he served on the Executive Committee as chair-elect and vice chair. Wolfe most recently chaired NPA’s Governance Committee and led a two-year, association wide effort to see member input to modernize NPA’s governance structure. He currently serves on the University of Kansas Alumni Association Board and the Boise Downtown Association. His company was recognized as the Boise, Idaho Small Business of the Year in 2011. Wolfe received a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas.
